But the war I am talking about in a specific place, in one particularly small lot. Its right by the building I need to be in, and since I don't have very long after class ends to get all way down to Sandy for work I HAVE to park in that lot.
It's a really small lot with way to many A spots (I don't even know how you get an A pass, by the way) and not nearly enough U. So every Monday morning, the battle for a spot begins. You pull into the lot and drive around a hundred times hoping that some spot will magically appear. And then, class gets out and the real war begins. It's more of a stalking war really. You see someone coming down the stairs and you drive as fast as you can to be the first car following them to their spot.
And of course, the dumb people never remember where they parked!! So after following them down two rows, they double back and go down an up row and some stupid other driver gets your spot!! Grrrrrrr!! It's times like that that I seriously feel like getting out of the car, knocking on their window and saying "that should have been my spot jerk, move your dang car"!!!
And then you start the process all over, hoping that the next person has a better memory of where they parked. Some days you loose the battle miserably, losing numerous spots people that YOU KNOW came into the lot after you, and other days, like today, you got a SWEET parking lot!!
Ahhhhh, the feel of victory!!
