Only 20 days!!

So I know it is Halloween and I should be doing some kind of fun Halloween post with all my cool pictures that I have taken today, but the night is still young! So I decided to leave that for tomorrow!!
Instead, I thought I'd post some stuff from, what else... TWILIGHT!! There are only TWENTY days left people!! And I still have that extra ticket if someone wants it!!
The other day, I saw a really cool preview for the movie on TV. It was the final Twilight preview, with a twist!! A really awesome twist!! There was some stuff from the Port Angeles scene, but my favorite.... Edward (***sigh***) playing Bella's lullaby!! AHHHHHH!! It was SO awesome!! So I have been searching the web trying to find it, and now luck. But I found a this really cool video that has pieces of clips, some old, some new. Check it out!

(Again you are just going to have to go to the YouTube website because I
ABSOLUTELY do not get how you embed videos!! People keep telling
me to just copy and paste the embed code thing, but it never works!
It only copies part of the stupid, long thing and I can NEVER get it
to work!! If ANY ONE has any tips of how to solve my stupid
problem, I would LOVE to hear them!!)
And for those of you that don't have the movie Penelope, here is the cute clip that is previewed before the movie!!
So, that is it for the day!! Haha, I can hear Angee right now "Jeez, you are obsessed with it girl!!" Haha!! Angee you are awesome!! It's almost here though, and then I swear I will stop blogging about it (with the exception of the one blog taking about how totally AWESOME it was), haha!!
P.S. Have a SPOOK-TACULAR Halloween!!

Hope Your Not Sick of Twilight News!!

Okay, so I just got on the internet to check my email and what do I see on the MSN homepage??? A new clip from Twilight!! Wahoo!! It seriously made my day!!
It's really short but it's still awesome!! I have been trying to find a way to post a link or something, but it's just not working for me (yeah... I am totally technologically challenged... sad I know).
So if you got to MSN, go into the videos section and click on movies. You should be able to find it in there somewhere! If you have watched the newest trailer, there is part where Bella knocks an apple off the counter and Edward (****sigh****) catches it is his hands (totally awesome referance to the books amazing cover). It's an extension of that scene.
Like I said, short and sweet, but still so much fun to watch!!

All New!!

So a few days ago I got an email from my awesome friend Danielle about how the LA Times is doing a countdown everyday to Twilight with stories, pictures and videos!! So I just got on so I could read today's story and I couldn't find it. But while I was looking for it I saw the Twilight trailer on T.V.!! It was so awesome!! I know I have already watched it a million times and basically have it memorized, but it never gets old!
Anyway, while I was searching for the Twilight stuff, I saw a link for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Since I wasn't finding anything about Twilight I decided to click on it, and guess what I found..... A BRAND NEW TRAILER!! It is so cool and makes me so excited for the next 200+ days to go by fast!! Check it out!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZFitUCO_pk ***(I'm really lame and don't get how you just "embed" the video in your blog, so you will just have to go to YouTube to see it!!)***

And if you haven't seen the first trailer, you should watch that one too!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uV8m-XL1kxg

And now back to Twilight!! Did you know that there are only TWENTY THREE days until it hits theaters!! I am SO excited about it!! I actually bought tickets to opening night this weekend so I am all set!! I actually have an extra ticket if any one is interested in it!! Let me know!!
And guess what... while I was on the awesome La Times website, I found out that on November 7th, Catherine Hardwicke (the movies director), Robert Pattinson (ahhhh, Edward) and Kristen Stewart (Bella) will be doing a question and answer thing about the movie in LA. The best part... they will be showing new footage from the movie!! I am hoping that some awesome person out there will be posting it on YouTube!!

4th of the 4th

Another tagging game, Wahoo!! This one is from my awesome friend Amanda!! Again, I dont know who even reads this thing, so if you see it, you like it, do it!
The rules: Go into your Pictures folder and go into the 4th file. Then post the 4th picture below and dont forget to leave an awesome description of it!!

I know that the rules say you are supposed to go into your 4th file and choose your 4th picture but that just didnt work for me!! Haha! My fourth file is from my California trip last October and I recently put all the pictures on CD's because they were taking up lots of space on my compter, so all that's left in the file is video. I tried to post the awesome 4th video from the file but I couldnt get it to work. I am totally blogging challenged!

Anyway, this picture come from my 5th file (Europe) and the 5th file withing that folder (Misc.) and it's the 5th picutre (did that even make sense???). This is the only picture I have of Germany. On my way home from Europe, we flew from Rome to Frankfurt (which is a very short plane ride, by the way) and as we were getting ready to land, I took this picture. We had no extra time once we landed in the airport, and we literally had to run from terminal to terminal. I would have loved to have had some more time there though, even it was just a couple of hours!! It looked beautiful in the air and it is definetley on my list of places to visit!!

"There She Goes"

I was tagged by my friend Nicole to play this fun game. Here's what you do: put your iPod or MP3 Player on Shuffle (it took me longer than humanly necessary to figure out how to do this), and for each question, put the title of the song that comes up. Something Kind of Interesting

One of my friends at work sent me an email and I though it was really interesting and I thought I would post it here:

"I'm against the $85 BILLION bailout of AIG. Instead, I'm in favor of giving $85,000,000,000 to America in a 'We Deserve It' dividend.

To make the math simple, let's assume there are 200,000,000 bona fide U.S. citizens, aged 18+. Our population is about 301 million counting every man, woman and child. So, 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up.
Now, divide 200 million, 18+ adults into $85 billion - that equals $425,000.00 each! Yes, my plan is to give that $425,000 to every adult as a 'We Deserve It' dividend. Of course, it would NOT be tax free. So, let's assume a tax rate of 30%.
Every one would pay $127,500.00 in taxes. That sends $25.5 billion right back to Uncle Sam! It also means that every adult 18+ has $297,500.00 in their pocket. A husband and wife would have $595,000.00!
What would you do with $297,500.00 to $595,000.00?

* Pay off your mortgage - housing crisis solved
* Repay college loans - what a great boost to new grads
* Put away money for college - it'll really be there
* Save in a bank - create money to loan to entrepreneurs
* Buy a new car - create jobs
* Invest in the market - capital drives growth
* Pay for your parent's medical insurance - health care improves
* Enable Deadbeat Dads to come clean - or else

Remember this is for every adult U.S. citizen, 18 and older (including the folks who lost their jobs at Lehmann Brothers and every other company that is cutting back) and of course, for those serving in our Armed Forces. If we're going to re-distribute wealth let's really do it!
Instead of trickling out a puny $1,000.00 economic incentive. If we're going to do an $85 billion bailout, let's bail out every adult U.S. citizen!!
As for AIG - liquidate it. * Sell off its parts. * Let American General go back to being American General. * Sell off the real estate. * Let the private sector bargain hunters cut it up and clean it up. We deserve the money and AIG doesn't.
And remember, This plan only really costs $59.5 billion because $25.5 billion is returned instantly in taxes to Uncle Sam."

I don't know where this came from or who thought of it, but it makes sense to me!! How awesome would it be if the federal government bailed it citizens out!! Of course you are going to get some people who will spend it on junk, but for the most part, I think people would be pretty smart about spending it.
Think of all the things you could do with almost $300,000!!! I know I would totally pay my school loans off, and then maybe going to school wouldn't be so bad!! It would be so awesome to have that kind of security!! So yeah, I am all about a 'We Deserve It' package for American citizens!!

$$$

Life is so expensive…… especially the life of a college student. Sometimes I don’t know why I was ever so excited to be a grown up, because paying bills as an adult is no fun at all.
I’m trying work up the courage to ask my boss if I can work more hours on days I don’t have school because I really need the money! But, with the economy being as crazy as it is, I am scared to ask. I guess the worst she could say is no….. but that would be pretty bad and then I would probably have to go get a job as a door greeter at Wal-Mart or something.
So to try to get a little bit of extra income I have started “my own business.” I have become a Scentsy seller. I’m doing it is just for fun, and for the extra income. I don’t want to be really pushy or crazy about it, and I definitely don’t want to be one of the obnoxious consultants that never leaves you alone. I’m just hoping that I can get some extra money each month, even if it’s just enough to pay for my gas. So I’m really hoping that it will work out. I have done one party so far and not very many people came, and that was kind of a bummer. So I’m hoping to do another one soon at a time when more people are available!!
And hopefully very very soon I will be brave enough to talking my boss into letting me work more hours!

P.S. There are only 37 days until TWILIGHT!! AHHHH!! I am SO excited!!
