{Day 5}

{What is your favorite movie}

 Okay, this one is REALLY easy for me!! I didn't even have to think long about this one!!!

I LOVE this movie it! {LOVE it}!! I can honestly watch it 20 times in a row and not get sick of it!! There are been times when I have watched this movie more than once or twice in day!!! I {LOVE} everything about it!! The crazy mother, the caring father and the obnoxious sisters!! And then there is Mr. Darcy!! *****sigh***** Where are all the Mr. Darcy's of the world??

And then there is the beauty of the English country side!! I wouldn't mind having a summer house there!! And I love their dresses! And the way the men stand up for the ladies when they enter a room!! If I could pick an era to live in, it would probably be this one!

**So the next clip is kind of long! But I think it is so cool! Wouldn't it be amazing to live in one of those house!!

The music in this movie is wonderful too!! So beautiful! I have the soundtrack on my iPod and I often wake up to "Dawn" or "The Secret Life of Daydreams"!! I have the piano book and every so often I sit down and try to master on of the songs!!

I {LOVE}{LOVE}{LOVE} this part! It makes me smile every time I see it!!! Mr. Darcy is so wonderful!!!!

So, if you have not seen this movie, you know what you are doing this weekend right!?! You are going to where ever it is you rent movies {Do they even have Blockbusters or Hollywood Videos any more??} and watch Pride and Prejudice {the 2005 version}!!



{Day 4}

I have never really paid much attention to astrological signs. I'm not one to check my daily horoscope. And until today, I didn't even know that much about my sign.

Day 4 question??

{What is your zodiac sign and does it really fit you?}

Because my birthday is at the end of August, this is my sign:

Virgo is an Earth sign rules by Mercury. Ummmm, I don’t really know what that is supposed to mean, that is just what is says online!

With every sign comes good and bad attributes. Lets get the negative stuff out of the way!!

·        Cynical/Pessimistic

·        Shy

·        Worriers

·        Critical of self and others

·        Turn molehills into mountains

Very interesting! And I have to admit…… I think I am a lot like that list!! I am pretty critical {especially of myself} and I do tend to make problems seem worse than they are!! And the worrier part!! That is me to a T!! I worry about everything…… all the time!! But lets now dwell on the negative stuff {I wouldn’t want to be a pessimistic Virgo or anything, haha}!

There are lots of good things about Virgos!!!

·        Learns easily

This sounds like a lot of the traits someone has if they are a BLUE personality. Guess what people……… I have a part blue personality!! Crazy!!! I am a perfectionist for sure. And I love to plan things out, right down to the last detail!! I like things to be clean and organized and I think I am a pretty hard worker!

Other interesting things about Virgos:

* They make excellent programmers, accountants, doctors, lawyers or teachers

            {My degree is in Early Childhood Education!!}

* They have an avid interest in history and some make excellent writers and researchers

            {I don’t know about the last part of the statement, but I have always LOVED

             history}

* They outwardly play it cool, although on the inside they may be seething with nerves or frustration

            {I admit……. I do that!! A lot!!!} 

I found this cool list of {likes} and {dislikes} online............. and I tried to post it 3 times!! And it will not work for me!! I am having blogging issues today!! Ahh!

One thing that I thought was interesting was that Virgos dislike loud noises!! SO true!! I have always hated loud sounds like thunder, fireworks, sirens, popping balloons, etc!! It also says that dislike risk!! It's true!! I am NOT a risk taker and I have a hard time being spontaneous {it' the planner in me}!!!!

But it does say that they like things to be neat and tidy {which I totally do} and they like practicality and friendliness!!! I really like those things too!!

So I guess it is true!! I am a Virgo thru and thru!! I still am not a believer in astrology though!! And I dont think I will be checking my horoscope every day!!! 

{Day 3}

Today's question???

{What is something you want to learn??}

I want to learn a lot of things!! One thing on the top of my list is "How do I upload videos to blogger??"
I know there is a button that says "Insert A Video", but it does not work for me!! The video either says there is an error or to try back later!! Errrrrrrrrrrrrr!! It's kind of starting to get frustrating!! I have some fun videos from my Disneyland trip that I want to post..... but I am lame and cant figure it out!!

How to take better pictures!!

How to make cute flowers out of fabric!!

How to play "A River Flows in You" and many other songs on the piano!!

Enough moves to become a Zumba instructor!!

This list could go on and on!! I want to learn how to grow my own garden and how to keep simple house plants alive!! I want to learn how to arrange flowers and how to decorate cakes!! I want to learn to ice skate and how to hula hoop! I want to learn the secret behind losing weight and how to go a week without eating chocolate!!!

So much learning to do!! I better get started!! Any one know how to do any of that stuff? 

{Day 2}

Guess what I decided today?? That I am going to try to be a good blogger and post something every day this month!! We'll see how that goes!! Haha!! You all know how good I have been about that in the past!!

{Day 1}

On day 1 of my month long blogging adventure I am using a couple of different ideas. Some people's instructions say to just post a picture of yourself. Other people blogs tell you to list 10 things you like about yourself, or 20 things about you, or 5 things no one knows about you, etc!
So, I am taking pieces of those and I am posting a picture of myself.........

And I am going to tell you 15 random/crazy/boring things about me:

1. I {HATE} peeling potatoes! {HATE} it a lot. I hate the peeler thing, I hate the way my hands smell after I have touched them, I hate the texture of a peeled potato....... I do not like it at all!! {LOVE} to eat them though!!!
2. When I started driving, I used to use both feet {and it was not a stick shift car}
3. I {LOVE} pearls!! Love them more than diamonds!!
4. In 4th grade I was Miss Morgan County. Okay........... so it was in a school play...... but I still got to wear a pretty dress, high heels, and sweet sash!!
5. My favorite smell in the whole world is Bounce dryer sheets! If I didnt look like a crazy person I would walk around with a box held up to my face all day long!! Second favorite smell............ the inside of Barnes and Noble
6. I do NOT like spiders {pretty sure everyone that knows me already knew that}...... but I think I hate the praying mantis just as much!! They are so {GROSS}!! I know they are good bugs..... but they seriously freak me out!
7. At USU my roommates and I used to door bell ditch one of the apartments upstairs {that's what those boys get for insatlling a doorbell on their dorm room door}! One day it turned into a water fight!! The whole upstairs hallway was soaking wet!! The RA's were not happy to say the least!!
8. My favorite French word is the word for pineapple!!!
9. I do not like to drink Coke {or} Pepsi!! I dont think either one is very good!! Give me a Dr. Pepper or Sunkist!!
10. I still listen to Disney music!! Yes, that is right!! I love it, okay!!
11. I dont remember how old I was the first time I saw Edward Scissorhands, but that movie {REALLY} freaked me out!! I had nightmares about a crazy man with scissor hands coming to get me and cutting me up into pieces!! I have not watched that movie since!
12. Have you seen the new Nissan Leaf?? I think they look cute and I would {LOVE} to own one!!
13. I will not paint my toe nails yellow!!
14. I like think cherry Pop-Tarts are {delicious}!! I took my own toaster with my on my trip to CA just so I could eat them in the morning!!
15. I can still sing my elementary school fight song!!!  "We're the Terra Linda Tigers, Terra Linda that's our school................."

Phew! One day down....... 14 to go!! HAPPY {offical} October!!

30 Days Had September

I for one cannot believe that today is the last day of the month!! Seriously, where did it go?? The days have seemed to drag on and on {because work has been so slow} but now we are at the end of the month and I have no idea what I did with the last 29 days!
I guess I did move........... and had a Labor Day BBQ............ and went boating................... and made some fun fall crafts............ I guess I need to blog about that stuff!
But for now, I will just post some pictures of my favorite fall color to celebrate this final day of September!!

P.S. So, I have seen a lot of people doing these 30 day posting thing on their blogs {some of them have gone up to 50}!! They have a different question for every day of the week!! These posts are not all the same.... some people's seem to be more serious, others are more getting to know you type questions, and some had just plain funny post!

Things like that are good for me because it give me ideas of things to write about! So, you all know how {fantastic and diligent} I am about blogging!! I thought what I would do is take 15 post ideas from other peoples blogs {yes, I am totally copying you people} and post them throughout the month of October..... I thought about trying to do all 30 days...... but I am fairly certain that would NOT happen!! Are you excited about this?!?! You should be!!

"Be Careful, You Are Easily Tempted"

A friend at work one day had Chinese for lunch...... when she cracked open her fortune cookie the above phrase was on the little slip of paper. As I walked past her desk later that day she gave it to me, laughed, and said it reminded her of me!! HAHAHA!! It's true, I admit! I am easily tempted by some things. Things that are made of chocolate, covered in chocolate or smell like chocolate. Or pretty things that you wear on your feet, or wear around your neck. Or anything that comes in a fancy package or container!!
I still have that little fortune! It is on my cork board right by my desk!!

Today I am tempted by hair. I don't know what to do about mine! I think I have complained about it multiple times on this blog!! THANK YOU for putting up with it!! And SORRY that I am complaining about it yet again!!

 Right now I am tempted by bobs!! Not super short A-line bob {super cute on some people........ NOT cute on Amanda} but by a long, shoulder length bob. Something like one of these:

I just don't know!! AHHH!! There are days when I LOVE my hair the way it is! And other days I absolutely HATE it!! I have really thick hair, so right now, when I wear it straight it looks awful!! I feel like the weight of my hair pulls it down and makes it look completely flat and well just plain blah!!

So, do I chop of my hair and go for a cute bob?? I am totally tempted to make an appointment and do it today!!

I just don't know!! I do know that I would probably hate it as soon as I saw it.......... but then maybe in a few days...... weeks....... months......... it would grow on my and wouldn't be so bad!

I know that it's "just hair" and that it will "grow back eventually" and I probably shouldn't make such a big deal about it! But I am pretty vain about my hair....... I worry constantly about how it looks!

So I just do not know!! How do I decide?? AHHHHHHH!!
